KÜÜL® pads are manufactured by Port-A-Cool, LLC in Center, Texas, located in the pine forest region of East Texas. KÜÜL® pads are one of three pad manufacturers in the world and the only pad manufacturer in the U.S.A. Other products manufactured by Port-A-Cool, LLC, include Port-A-Cool® portable evaporative cooling units, and Kuulaire™ portable evaporative cooling units.

In 1997, Port-A-Cool, LLC entered the cooling media business because no other manufacturer offered the quality needed to deliver maximum performance in Port-A-Cool® portable evaporative cooling units. By developing and utilizing unique production methods, used only by Port-A-Cool, LLC, and incorporating the highest quality virgin kraft paper with the highest resin content of any pad, KÜÜL® pads deliver superior evaporative cooling.
